Shipping policy

Every order is packed by hand in New York, New York. In Yesterday, Tomorrow is a large-format book — 9.25 × 12.25 inches, 192 pages — and it ships in a rigid, custom-fitted carton with board protection at the corners.
Processing time
Orders are packed and dispatched within 3–5 business days of purchase. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day. During the first weeks after release, dispatch may take slightly longer; if your order will be delayed beyond this window, we will email you.
Shipping rates
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address and the service you select. Because of the book's size and weight, rates vary meaningfully by destination — you will see the exact cost before you pay, with no charges added afterward.
Delivery estimates
All delivery windows below are estimates from the date of dispatch, not the date of purchase, and are not guaranteed.
- United States: 2–8 business days depending on the service selected.
- Canada: 5–14 business days.
- Europe and the United Kingdom: 7–16 business days.
- Rest of world: 10–24 business days.
Customs inspection can extend any international estimate, sometimes by two weeks or more. We are not able to expedite or influence customs processing.
Tracking
You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a second email with tracking when it is dispatched. If you have not received tracking within 7 business days of ordering, please write to info@raza-ayoob.com.
Customs, duties and import taxes
For most international destinations, import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, so nothing further is owed on delivery. Where this applies, it will be itemised before you pay.
For any destination where duties are not collected at checkout, the recipient is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs brokerage fees charged by the destination country. These are set by your government, not by us, and we cannot estimate them in advance. If a parcel is refused at customs and returned to us, we will refund the cost of the book less our outbound and return shipping costs.
Incorrect addresses
Please check your shipping address carefully before completing your order. We cannot change an address once a parcel has been dispatched. Parcels returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address can be reshipped at your cost, or refunded less shipping.
Damaged or lost parcels
If your book arrives damaged, photograph the outer carton and the book and write to us at info@raza-ayoob.com within 14 days of delivery. We will replace it or refund you in full, and we will cover return shipping if we need the damaged copy back.
If tracking shows delivery but the parcel has not arrived, please check with your neighbours and building management first, then contact us within 21 days of the marked delivery date so we can open a claim with the carrier.
First edition
In Yesterday, Tomorrow is a first edition of 250 copies. Once the edition sells out, it will not be reprinted in this form, and outstanding orders cannot be fulfilled beyond the edition size.
